COACH JOSEY  ANNOUNCES 2018-19 SCHEDULE - The Bears will be opening the season hosting the Basha Thanksgiving Tournament on November 19th and 20th. Teams participating include Casteel, Ironwood Ridge, Barry Goldwater, Cortez, Casa Grande and host  Basha.

Highlights of the regular season include games in the AIA  6-A Premier Division against rivals Chandler, Xavier Prep, Hamilton and Perry. SCHEDULE

  HELP THE PROGRAM AND GET A TAX BREAK - If you would like to contribute to the Girls Basketball program you will be eligible for a 100% tax credit. The state of Arizona allows individuals and couples a 100% state tax credit on donations made to schools for extra curricular activities.

To contribute go the Chandler School District website and fill out the on-line form and give them the instruction that you want to donate specifically to "Basha High Girls Basketball" when you fill out the form. This is a great way to help our program and recieve a full dollar for dollar credit on your state taxes.

Arizona law ARS 43-1089.01 enables taxpayers a tax credit contribution of up to $400.00 per calendar year if filing status is Married, filing Joint Return; $200.00 per calendar year if filing status is Single or Head of Household; and, $200.00 per calendar year if filing status is Married filing separate return — for contributions that fund extracurricular activities in public schools. A tax credit is a full refund, not a deduction.

If you are printing the form and completing the process manually, you will need to label it for Basha High School and make a notation in the comment section that the donation should go to the Basha HS Girls Basketball Program and if you would like, list the player on the team for whom this will be representing. This form will need to be turned in to the office at Basha High School.
